I never had the drive to further push a character that is already able to beat every aspect of the game, maybe except Uber Tristram. One could say that Uber Tristram runs or getting a specific set or crafting rune sets and hoping for god rolls can be viewed as endgame, but it isn't. These are the points that are, in my view, vastly superior in comparison to D3.Īrt style is more fitting and enjoyable in D2, but that is subjective. It's way more "hardcore" in terms of itemization, initial difficulty and character development. I am myself pretty fond of D2, but we always have to keep in mind that this game and the gameplay ideas and mechanics behind the game are 20 years old. This sub is full of D2 fans and nostalgic people. You can definitely sink a lot of time into D2, but that does not mean that you can or will enjoy the game like you enjoy D3.
