And it was great to be able to cover multiple Doctors, companions and villains from across the years of Doctor Who. Do you have any personal favourites?Īnyone that follows me on Twitter will probably notice rather quickly that I’m a fan of Doctor Who, so it was an absolute dream of mine to be able to bring the Doctor Who costumes to LittleBigPlanet 3 during Christmas 2015.

There’s been a tonne of cool costumes for Sackboy® and co. I’m also very fond of levels where a creator has taken three or four materials from our own Adventure and somehow managed to mix them together to create an entirely new “theme” of level that hasn’t been seen in any of the content that we created for the game ourselves. I couldn’t count how many times that I’ve played a level in LittleBigPlanet, or been sent a video/screenshot and had to do a double-take to check that I was still looking at LBP. Oh wow… I’ve played thousands of community levels over the years, so it’s very difficult to pick some firm favourites. If you want to craft your own levels and creations, just pop over to Create to begin building your very first hand-made creation.ġ0 million? That’s a lot of levels! What are some of the most creative (or plain weirdest) ones you’ve come across? On top of our community creations though, you still have the rest of the base LittleBigPlanet 3 game to explore, including our own Adventure campaign. The big news this month* to coincide with the launch of LittleBigPlanet 3 on PlayStation Plus is that the community has now published over 10 million levels since the original LittleBigPlanet launched in 2008, and all of these are available to play in LBP 3 right now.Īny player looking to check out some of our favourite levels over the years should head straight to the Team Picks area or the special Greatest Hits community category that we launched specially this month to showcase these levels to everyone. So what kind of sack-shenanigans can new players look forward to in LittleBigPlanet™ 3?

So we caught up with LBP Community Manager, Steven Isbell for some expert hints, tips and pointers…

If you’re new to the fantastical world of LBP 3, we know there’s so much to see, do and build – it can be hard to know where to start.
